How Taken
The usual Microzide dose is once a day, most suitable in the early morning. To avoid any stomach problems, take the drug with food or milk.

Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose, just take it as soon as you remember if it is not later than 1 hour. If it is too close to the next dose, leave the missed one and follow your normal dose schedule. Do not take two doses at a time in order to catch up.

Storage
You should keep Detrol at normal room temperature below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, moisture, and light. Make sure it is placed away from children.
Overdose
If you doubt an overdose, seek immediate medical attention. Overdose symptoms may include seizures, slow or shallow breathing, drowsiness, nausea/vomiting, dizziness, weakness, confusion, unconsciousness, unusually slow heartbeat, or fainting.
